Last month I participated in Double Decker Arts Festival in Oxford, Mississippi for the first time. It ended up being a beautiful weekend, and I set a record for a personal best day of sales! So many people came by the booth with such nice things to say about my work. It was incredible to feel the love. Here are a few pics from the trip.
I went to Mississippi State, and sometimes my classmates and I made fun of how "fancy" Ole Miss was. This picture of a limo at Abner's helps me make my case.
Love having drinks overlooking the square on a pretty day.
Then, we tried going into a new bar and were quickly reminded how old we are.
My friends helped me transport a TON of merchandise, including stuffing this awesome vintage Shasta full of things. Eventually I will have my own. Or just take over this one. Would really like to redo the inside in my fabrics and wallpaper.
The booth looked great! I brought this duck decoy that I borrowed from my dad (years ago with no intention of returning it) and the man that made it actually stopped by my tent. He said it was about 20-30 years old, and one of his early models. I'm still keeping it.
